LATU LJ Practice Session

These practice sessions are for interpreters [any languages], aspiring interpreters, language access and justice lovers, and anyone who cares about building language justice in LATU.



Join us! You do not have to be multilingual and all are welcome. Notes from previous sessions here

We will decide together what we do, in the moment. If you want to learn or practice remote simultaneous interpretation, note that it would be helpful for you two have:

• two devices (e.g. one computer, one smartphone, or tablet)
• two corded headsets that can be used with your devices, at least one with a microphone

Estas sesiones de práctica son para intérpretes [cualquier idioma], intérpretes aspirantes, amantes de la justicia y el acceso lingüístico, y cualquier persona interesada en construir la justicia lingüística en el SILA/LATU.

Decidiremos juntes lo que hacemos, en el momento. Si deseas aprender o practicar la interpretación simultánea remota, ten en cuenta que sería útil tener:

• dos aparatos (por ejemplo, una computadora, un teléfono smart o una tableta)
• dos pares de audífonos con cable que se pueden usar con sus aparatos, al menos uno con micrófono
